The classic run-and-gun series pairs relentless action with sprawling worlds that invite you to look beyond the obvious route. Its Amiga and console legacy is closely tied to Factor 5 and the music of Chris Hülsbeck: a sound that made a small screen feel enormous.
Terra Glitch’s Turrican takes that sense of scale into an original album inspired by the games. Its track titles trace a machine-age adventure: Digital Warrior’s Ascension, Cybernetic Awakening, Binary Wasteland and a final Digital Storm. The journey moves from activation to confrontation, with a human pulse beneath the armour.
